Governor Mike DeWine signed a new bill into law that will require Ohio students in public high schools to take a financial literacy course. This goes into effect for Students who start 9th grade for the first time on or after July 1, 2022. The class will cover personal finance topics from budgeting to opening a bank account, managing student loan debt and more.
