Oscar Mayer is giving a new name to the Weinermobile. This is the first name has change in Oscar Mayer history.
They will now call all of their hot dog shaped cars “Frankmobiles” with goal to bring attention to a new recipe for All Beef Franks.
There are currently 6 Frankmobiles in Oscar Mayer’s meat fleet and they will be getting an upgrade, but still have the same hotdog look. New exterior decals will be added, including Frank Whistles (formerly Wiener Whisles) and a new class of Frankfurters, formerly known as Hotdoggers.
The Frankmobile will change only in name, continuing on "the vehicle's mission to spark smiles and unite fans around a love of meat," the company said.
