University Hospitals MacDonald Women’s Hospital and UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital Parent Bereavement Programs and the Auxiliary of University Hospitals are hosting a Remembrance Walk for parents, family members, and friends to come together to remember a precious baby or child who has died.

8:00-9:00am Registration with Legacy Building activities available
8:45am Opening remarks/Reading of Remembrance Names
9:15am One mile walk begins
*Registration includes all day admission to the Zoo and to the Rainforest (every person who registers needs to have a wristband which will be picked up at the Zoo Ticket Booth the day of the walk)
*Event activities are in the Palava Hut which is available to all walk participants until 2pm
*Legacy Building activities will include opportunities to make a fabric square in memory of your child to be included on the 2023 Remembrance Quilt and a scrapbook page for the annual scrapbook which is kept in the Family Resource Library in RB&C. All materials will be provided at the event.
*Same day registration is available; pre-registration online is encouraged for planning purposes
