Sandusky Seeing Major Transportation Updates to US 6 and Downtown Pathway

Getting to Cedar Point is about to get easier - they plan to rebuild and improve a six mile stretch of US 6/Cleveland Road from US 250 to Rye Beach Road and Ohio 2. This is all thanks to a major $24.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The grant will also pay for an extension of the Sandusky Bay Pathway, a multi-use trail along the waterfront that will eventually connect downtown Sandusky east to Huron. Completion is expected in 2025 or 2026.
