Star 102 is celebrating our Summer of Stars powered by Legacy Roofing Services with more music and more free tickets all summer long! This summer brings more events to Cleveland than we've seen since 2019 and more great things you can do with your family and friends! So we've put together a list of more than 102 Things You Can Do In The Summer of 2022 to shine your star in the CLE!
How about a ball game? Head to Progressive Field to see one of the 38 home games our Guardians are playing this summer:
Or you could check out more sports fun with the Cleveland Monsters & Charge on Tour.
How about the Arts? Enjoy the theatre! Playhouse Square is better than ever before with over 25 great performances for either a long overdue date night or girl's night out and even fun for the whole family with test of time classics like My Fair Lady and new favorites like Disney's Frozen!
Festivals are back! Dozens of them! From Lyndhurst to Middleburg Heights. Medina, Euclid, Bedford, Chagrin Falls, Strongsville, Bay Village, Rocky River and the list goes on and on! Enjoy our awesome neighborhoods and local communities with family and friends almost every day all summer long!
And of course, we can't forget the Cleveland Summer Beerfest, Uncorked Wine Festival and Tequilla Fest Cleveland for grown up fun! There's also the Cleveland Orchestra for more distinguished palates or picnics and sun.
Did we mention concerts? So many concerts! Whether it's barefoot on the lawn at Blossom or scoring tickets to see your favorite artists at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, concerts are back in a big way this year. And, we've got more chances to win your tickets to see them!
For rainy days and nights, may we suggest finishing that jigsaw puzzle you started back in 2020? Or how about a summer long game of Monopoly (if you start today you might be done by September) - and the fan favorite thimble is back too!
Of course, there's also movie nights from the comfort of your couch with blockbusters getting ready to drop on your favorite platforms. Not to mention the final volume of Season 4 of Stranger Things, hitting Netflix July 1st. (We still can't get over the "Dear Billy" episode this season, give Sadie Sink all the awards and of course Kate Bush should be topping charts. That song is amazing!)
This could be the summer you and yours decide to focus more on sustainability? There's always 1Thing you can do to make a difference whether it's in your own backyard or planning a summer trip? We've even got the podcasts to walk you through it!
Speaking of podcasts, there are hundreds of those to choose from this summer as you're walking, cycling or hiking through our Metroparks. From True Crime to Health and Wellness to Star 102 Artist Interviews, there's a podcast perfect for you when you download the free Audacy app. Not only that, amazing exclusive playlist channels to listen to!
Those podcasts are great on the beach too! Lake Erie has some fantastic beachfronts to lounge on or play volleyball or maybe rest between trips on the lake while you're boating! Put-N-Bay anyone?
While you're a little west, we can't forget our favorite amusement park: Cedar Point. With 70 rides to experience this summer for the first time or all over again.

And of course, don't forget downtown. Cleveland has some of the best restaurants you'll find and attractions that are a destination worldwide. Why not impress your friends in from out of town with a visit to the Rock Hall. There are well over 50 live events and awesome exhibits to take in. From Lunch By The Lake to Beatles Fridays or how about Yoga on the Plaza? Did we mention The Garage is now open?
Of course, you have to try to Trump Toohey too. Weekday mornings with Jen & Tim let you participate in fun while connecting you to everything happening in Cleveland. You can also try to get Tim to taste foods you might be on the fence on - some worth a try yourself and others, you need only imagine.
And mark your calendars for some of the biggest events coming to the CLE: The Cleveland National Airshow, Wonderstruck and your child's summer camp week (yes mom, you can now breathe).
Maybe you want a little road trip? Or someone else to drive as you ride through one of the greatest National Parks in our country? The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad has 50+ years of creating options for you. And how about the great events happening at our Botanical Gardens and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo where all sorts of plant and animal life are enjoying our summer too!
And of course, there's nothing like your own backyard. There's something pretty special about tree houses and grown ups deciding to crash their kids' tents in the middle of July.

There are just so many things to do this summer and we can't wait to do them all. It's all good again the CLE and that's because we did and do our part! What a difference this summer is going to be!
You're the Star this summer as we get back to so much about what we love about our city. And we want your pics and your stories too. Show us when you do one of the More Than 102 Things To Do In The Summer of 2022 because we want to shine our Summer of Stars on YOU!
