The holidays are usually full of traditions and baking cookies, but what is the most popular Christmas cookie!?
A new map released by Google Trends shows the most uniquely searched cookie in every state compared to the rest of the country, USA Today reports.
A Christmas staple, gingerbread cookies, were a popular option across the map. They were a favorite in eight states: Montana, Oregon, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.
Maybe not a cookie that is specific to Christmas, but still a very popular one is the peanut butter cookie which dominated in a lot of states.
What cookie made it to #1 here in Ohio? To no surprise, the peanut butter blossoms!
