Wrong-Way Detection Systems Scheduled for 2023 in NEO

ODOT continues to make moves to protect Ohio drivers. A wrong-way detection system is scheduled to be installed in NEO in 2023. The system will span a 22-mile stretch of both 71 and 90 between W150th and E140th.

Work will begin in 2023, this includes the installation of “wrong-way” signs that flash when activated and 50 detection devices at 25 locations.
