After a rain delay of over two and a half hours, game five between the Yankees and Guardians has been postponed to Tuesday at 4:07 p.m.
Major League Baseball waited to try and find a window to avoid pushing the decisive ALDS game back into Tuesday, and original travel day to Houston to prepare for Wednesday’s ALCS, but the decision was made to postpone.
Fans were not happy about the extended wait time with no updates, and will now have to wait until Tuesday afternoon to see if the Yankees can keep their season alive.
