Major League Baseball has announced its start times for the ALDS and NLDS, and the Yankees and Guardians will play under the lights to start their American League Division Series.
Cleveland and New York will meet in the Bronx at 7:37 p.m. eastern for both Game 1 Tuesday night and Game 2 Thursday night.
The Yankees haven’t played since Wednesday’s regular season finale, while the Guardians earned themselves and extra day of rest by sweeping the Rays in the Wild Card Series on Saturday, thanks to a thrilling walk-off home run by Oscar Gonzalez in the bottom of the 15th, ending what was the longest scoreless tie in MLB playoff history.
Gerrit Cole will be on the mound for game one for the Yankees.
