It’s been four months since Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani said "I Do" in an intimate wedding ceremony in front of family. Now, Blake is ready to let fans in on one of the most special elements from the big day — his vows.
In true Country star fashion, Blake’s promising words of love and affirmation towards his bride turned into a song, and that song will now be available to fans beginning November 5.
Shelton took to Instagram to share his plans to release the song writing, “Gwen and I decided we were going to write our own vows for the wedding, but I decided to surprise her by writing a song instead… #WeCanReachTheStars. Midnight.”
His words are accompanied by a sweet photo of he and Gwen from their wedding day and if this song is half as sweet as the photo — we’ll be in great shape.
Blake and Gwen wed July 3 at a chapel Shelton built specifically for their wedding on his Oklahoma farm. The couple kept the event very intimate with only 40 guests, including Stefani's three kids.
Gwen and Blake met while both working as judges on NBC’s The Voice in 2015. Prior to marrying Shelton, Stefani married Gavin Rossdale in 2002 and divorced after nearly 13 years. They share three sons together. Shelton wed fellow country singer, Miranda Lambert, in 2011 and divorced in 2015 after four years of marriage.
