As she readies to release her highly-anticipated Rockstar album next month (November 17) the Country queen revealed she’ll give fans a special glimpse into the project two days before with the release of a “first-listen fan event,” taking place in cinemas world-wide.
Premiering November 15, with select encore presentations on November 16, the film will feature full songs from the new project, music videos and never-before-seen footage. Additionally, theater-goers will be treated to a performance of a holiday song and her classic hit, “9 to 5.”
"I am excited to know that my fans around the world will be able to come together and be the first to hear a sneak peek of my Rockstar album," Dolly said in a press release. "I am so proud of this music, and I am humbled by all the wonderful artists who joined me. I cannot wait for people to hear it!"
Tickets are on sale now at www.dollyrockstarevent.com.
In true Dolly fashion, a portion of proceeds from the film’s ticket sales will benefit Music Will, and it’s global partners. The organization is the largest nonprofit music program in the US public school system.
