Michael Stanley Day is coming up this Thursday, March 25th which would have been his 73rd birthday.
And we now know how the city of Cleveland will celebrate - it begins at 10:15 am with a proclamation at the Rock Hall Plaza, where city leaders will be joined by members of Michael’s family.
Then at 10:35 am, radio stations across Northeast Ohio, including us here at Star102 will play his hit song “My Town.”
Then at 10:35 am you can also visit linelevelmusic.com to stream two new songs, which will be featured on his upcoming album “Tough Room.” The album will have 14 new tracks recorded in the months before he died.
Throughout the day, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will play Stanley’s music from its Rock Box speakers along East 9th Street downtown Cleveland. The museum will display memorabilia, including his custom Jon Hill guitar.
