Mercedes
Mercedes is was born and raised in Colorado, but has been in Las Vegas since 1997, when she began waking up Las Vegas on Mix 94.1.
Her favorite part of the job is being able to create a bond with people. She says, “'I feel like I know you' is the biggest compliment I can receive. Being a role model to girls and women is something that I take very seriously.”
She’s been happily married to her husband Matt since 2000 and they have two daughters that keep her very busy.
Mercedes loves taking advantage of the entertainment in Las Vegas (the best concerts she’s been to are Ice Cube, Michael Bublé, and The Killers) and she loves doing Crossfit. She also loves sports and is a die-hard New York Yankees and Denver Broncos fan.
She graduated Cum Laude from UNLV with a degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Sociology.
