oSean “Diddy” Combs says he “takes full responsibility for his actions” after video was released of him assaulting singer Cassie in 2016. He posted a video this weekend saying that he’s not making excuses for his behavior and that he “hit rock bottom.” He also says that he has sought professional help after the incident.
Notably, while he offered a general apology, he never apologized directly to Cassie. She had described the attack in a lawsuit she filed back in November and they settle one day later.
After that he released a statement on social media, saying “I did not do any of the awful things being alleged” and that “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.” Cassie’s legal team says that he is a hypocrite and that he mislead the public.
