Girl toys, boy toys: is there really a difference? Boys can play with dolls, girls can play with trucks, right? Apparently not...
We received an email from a friend who's sister took her four year-old son to Target to get a toy, and the boy picked out a couple of dolls so she bought them. After arriving home, the boy's father didn't want to keep them because "boys shouldn't play with dolls".
What should our friend do? Does she disagree with her husband, or toss the dolls at the risk of upsetting her son?
This is a rock and a hard place that no one wants to be stuck in between...
