Teens Planning 'Takeover' at McDonough Adventure Park; Parents Could Face Consequences
Henry County police are warning parents about a possible "teen takeover" planned for Saturday, March 7, at Urban Air Adventure Park in McDonough, promoted on social media for the afternoon and evening hours. Following recent similar incidents in metro Atlanta, including at the Beltline and The Battery, that led to numerous arrests, authorities are coordinating with the venue and nearby businesses for increased monitoring and a heavy law enforcement presence. Police emphasize that parents should not drop off unsupervised teens, as guardians could be held financially, legally, and even criminally responsible for any misbehavior, damages, or unlawful acts by their children.
