It’s Pride Weekend in Atlanta and there are tons of events happening to celebrate, many hosted by the Atlanta Pride Committee. Historically the Atlanta Pride Committee is one of the oldest nonprofit organizations aiding in the advocacy and advancement of the LGBTQ Community. The Committee is dedicated to their mission to help the visibility and unity of people with diverse gender and sexual identities. The Atlanta Pride Committee is responsible for the Atlanta Pride Festival, the Atlanta Pride Parade and 60 other year round activities and events aimed to help educate and advocate.

Atlanta Pride Official Kick off: Friday, October 13, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at The Georgia Aquarium, 225 Baker Street NW, Atlanta GA

Explore the largest aquarium in the United States with music, decorations and more. Friends old and new alike can enjoy music from three DJs throughout the Aquarium. The featured DJs are DJ Dawna Montell, from Los Angeles, will headline the event; Plus local DJs, DJ David Knapp and DJ Brian Rojas. There are a few ticket options to select from:

General Admission Tickets: 2 drink tickets valid for a mixed drink, beer, wine or soft drink.
Lounge Admission Tickets: A private lounge with views looking over the event and a premium 3-hour open bar and light bites.

The Atlanta Pride Parade: Sunday, October 15, 2023 starting at 12:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Civics Center MARTA Station

The biggest event of the weekend: The Atlanta Pride Parade draws in over 100,000 people. Starting at the Atlanta Civic Center MARTA Station at noon on Sunday and continuing down Peachtree Street, the parade will turn right onto 10th Street and end a block from the Charles Allen Gates to Piedmont Park. From the start of the Kickoff Party to the Pride Parade the Atlanta Pride Committee has set up several events and activities for you to enjoy this weekend that are educational, fulfilling and fun. Attendees can also enjoy the one of a kind Marketplace over 250 booths filled with vendors, apparel and more all in support of the LGBTQ community.
