Class 7A

All six of the top six 7A "Pick 6' teams were in action last week, including a top three matchup between No. 1 Buford and last week's No. 3, Mill Creek. And with over 10,000 in attendance, Buford took down Mill Creek 39-27 to remain at the top of the rankings while Mill Creek dropped to No. 5. With the Mill Creek loss, Carrollton, who defeated Pebblebrook 42-12, moved up to No. 3 and Valdosta, who defeated Richmond Hill 20-0, moved up to No. 4. Kennesaw Mountain, who lost to Walton 42-14, drops out of the top six down to No. 10 and Lambert, coming off a 20-3 win over West Forsyth rounds out the top six at No. 6.

Class 6A

Three of the top six 6A "Pick 6" teams, including No. 1 Langston Hughes, had the week off, while the remaining three were in action and all three walking away with victories. No. 3 Roswell took down Pope 56-3, No. 4 Gainesville handled business against Habersham-Central with a 34-0 win and No. 6 Woodward Academy got a dominating 56-7 win over Rockdale County. No changes took place among the top six of the rankings.

All six of the top six 5A "Pick 6" teams hit the turf last week with four of them coming out victorious. Ware County topped Bradwell Institute 48-0 to remain No. 1, but Kell's 42-24 loss to Cambridge, dropped them from No. 2 to No. 9. Creekside moves up to No. 2 after beating Maynard-Jackson 42-0 and Cartersville jumps to No. 3 after their 44-26 win over Hiram. Dutchtown was handed their first loss falling to Jones County 24-7, thus dropping from No. 4 to No. 7 and Coffee replaces them at No. 4 following their 35-3 win over Statesboro. Jumping up to No. 5 is Loganville and rounding out the top six is Cambridge coming off that win over Kell.

Four of the top six 4A "Pick 6" teams were in action last week as No. 1 Cedartown and No. 3 Troup each had a bye. Meanwhile, No. 2 North Oconee, No. 4 Perry, No. 5 Benedictine and No. 6 Burke County were all in action and all four teams coming up with wins, so no changes took place in the rankings.

Five of the top six 3A "Pick 6" teams were in action last week as No. 6 Stephens County had the week off. Of the five teams that played, two of them faced one another as Sandy Creek defeated Carver-Atlanta. The win for Sandy Creek moved them up a spot to No. 3, while Carver drops from No. 2 to No. 6 with the loss. Calvary Day, who defeated Johnson-Savannah 42-0 moved up to No. 2 and Doughtery, coming off of a 45-12 win over Monroe, moves into the No. 4 position.

As five of the top six 2A "Pick 6" teams were in action last week, two of them found themselves battling as No. 2 South Atlanta defeated North Cobb Christian. With the loss, NCC droped from No. 4 to No. 7 and Pierce County, who defeated Toombs County 31-28, replaces them at No. 4. Putnam, who had the week off, moved up a spot to No. 5 and Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, who held on for a 28-25 win over Columbia, rounds out the top six at No. 6.

Class A Division II

All six 1A Division II "Pick 6" teams hit the field last week and unfortunately two of them suffered defeats. Early County picked up their first loss of the season as they fell to Brooks County 34-7, thus dropping from No. 1 to No. 4. Bowdon, coming off of a 42-21 win over Christian Heritage, replaces them at No. 1 while Clinch, who beat Turner County 42-18, moves up a spot to No. 2 and Johnson County, who defeated Glascock County 47-7, moved up a spot to No. 3. Aquinas was the other team that suffered a loss, falling to Lincoln County 28-24 and dropping from No. 5 to No. 10 and Schely County moved up to No. 5 after picking up a 47-13 win over Taylor County. Lincoln County's win over Aquinas jumps them from No. 9 to No. 6 to round out the top six.
