This week’s Furry Friend Friday is all about Legacy, an 8-year-old who is ready for a home, some love and plenty of pets.
Legacy is available for adoption through LifeLine Animal Project at DeKalb County Animal Services. Volunteers describe him as a sweet, happy and “chill” dog who enjoys being around people.
When Legacy recently stepped out for his photos, he made it clear that affection is high on his list of favorite things. He spent his time leaning into volunteers for love and soaking up all the attention he could get.
One volunteer summed him up simply: “He knows no strangers, lives for pets, and is gentle.”
Legacy also has plenty of qualities that could make him an easy companion. Volunteers say he walks well on a leash, knows how to sit and takes treats gently. He also appears to be potty trained.
At 8 years old, Legacy may be a senior, but he still has plenty of love to give. Now, he just needs someone ready to give that love right back.
