Lifestyle Expert, Martha Stewart, 81, shocked the world by revealing her exclusive Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition photoshoot for 2023. She, along with Megan Fox and Kim Petras graced Sports Illustrated with jaw dropping and dare we say sexy photos that are a historic first for Martha and the magazine brand because she is the oldest model they’ve had for the special edition of the magazine. Stewart revealed her photos on a recent episode of the Today Show.
Martha has even shared with People Magazine it was a once in a lifetime opportunity that she did not want to pass up. She went as far as saying she should have done this 30 years ago, but that she’s glad she did it. The Lifestyle Expert says it’s important to ‘stand up to challenges’ whether it be beauty, intellectual or something else and most importantly to Stewart is to have fun while doing it.
The photoshoot was set in the Dominican Republic and Martha says she had nine looks she showed off in front of the camera. She shared in order to prepare for the shoot she dropped alcohol for about two months and also practiced pilates at the time. Additionally she shared she got spray tanned just days before the shoot, which gave her the perfect glow on camera.

Martha shared that she threw modesty out the window with the shoot because the photographer and other photoshoot personnel were posing her or fixing her hair in between each frame. Over all she feels Sports Illustrated accomplished what they set out to do: selling bathing suits, selling vacations and selling sex. The official Sports Illustrated Swimsuit addition of 2023 will be available on May 18, 2023.
