Harry Potter is set to be rebooted as a t.v. series with an entirely new cast. It seems shocking to think they could ever replace Daniel Radcliffe as the live action version of Harry Potter, but the announcement was made on Wednesday during the same press conference that announced HBO Max and Discover + will be joining forces into one streaming service starting May. Rumors of the show based off the book series started circulating in April, but the rumors have now been confirmed. Each season will be based on one of the books. Network executives are describing the show as a “decade-long series.” Author J.K. Rowling will serve as an executive producer on the show, and to no surprise disappointed many fans online, due to her increasingly controversial behavior and comments that trans women are not women. HBO declined to comment on Rowling’s views, but said, “Our priority is what’s on the screen.”
After months of heat for a series of vague social media posts making fun of Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber has a new project for her YouTube interview series, Who’s In My Bathroom?, with a spinoff cooking show. The Youtube show debutes this week, the six-episode first season of What’s In My Kitchen? will feature Bieber sharing some of her favorite dishes; however many Selena fans are speculating that this is another attempt at Hailey Bieber to copy Gomez. “What’s In My Kitchen? was a natural spinoff to Who’s In My Bathroom? because our audience was ready for us to stop eating in the bathroom,” Bieber said. “I’ve loved cooking and sharing meals with friends on my social channels for years, and I can’t wait to bring this experience to the fans...I can’t wait for everybody to see what’s next.” Bieber intends source her ingredients from Village Market Place from the food justice nonprofit Community Services Unlimited. Donations will also be made to Accion Opportunity Fund to help small businesses owned by women and people of color in the food industry. Bieber started her YouTube channel back in March of 2021 and now has more than 2 million followers.
Matthew McConaughey recently told a story about his mother knowing pal Woody Harrelson’s father and that there might be receipts of the pair hooking up. Matthew's mom implied that Matthew and Woody might actually be half brothers. The pair have been in talks for getting a DNA test to find out, but McConaughey is a little reluctant to do so because of the possible changes that could happen as a result of that.
