The 5 BEST Treasure Hunting Spots in Georgia

Formerly known as The Pendergrass Flea Market, this flea market recently went under new management and as a frequent visitor I must say I'm really impressed with all the new activities, booths and expansions La Vaquita has undergone. In addition to treasure hunting it's also a great place to take the family.

This flea market is sure to impress with its more than 700 booths. Treasure hunters can find anything from fresh fruits to handmade jewelry and much more. My favorite two things I look forward to with this flea market are the handmade artwork from other cultures and the food court.

Aside from great shopping, it's a great place to bring the kids as the flea market has a HUGE entertainment area and it's only growing. Bouncy houses, pony rides and carnival games are only scratching the surface of all the activities they have available for families to enjoy.

J & J Flea Market is located in Athens, but is totally worth the trip. This outdoor flea market is filled with treasures just waiting to be discovered. Treasure hunters can find anything from books and collectables to home furnishings. Not only that, but J & J Flea Market also makes it easy to become a vendor, so if you're a small business or just have some old stuff you want to get rid of J & J Flea Market might be the place for you.

The thing I love best about J & J's is the nostalgia factor. It reminds me of when I was a kid and would spend hours at a flea market with my mom and grandma finding the perfect deal on the perfect one of a kind item that no one else would have. Plus a flea market is a great place to teach kids about the value of cash and money. Like most flea markets bringing cash has its incentives as in many dollars off incentives.

I was honestly shocked to discover that Atlanta's very own and famous Starlight Six Drive in had a flea market. Of course we all know about the drive in, ESPECIALLY after a little thing called COVID-19. The flea market is listed as mostly outdoors and only open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Curiously there is not a lot of information about this elusive flea market, but what draws me in is the idea that you can treasure hunt and then watch a movie. The only downside to this flea market is there is an entry fee of $0.50 which means you either have to scrounge around for two quarters or bring a dollar to break change.

This flea market is so under the radar they don't even have a website. Located in Snellville this Metro Atlanta flea market is open 7 days a week and is filled with one of a kind vintage treasures sure to shock anyone you share it with.

Again not much is known about this flea market, the only way to find it is through word of mouth or driving by. I happen to live in the area and still didn't know about it.

It's been many years since I've been to Bill's, mostly because I live on the opposite side of town and Atlanta Traffic is no joke, if you know you know. Bill's Flea Market has everything from fresh fruits to vintage décor and best of all it's it's 30 minutes from Atlanta which means it's close by - like real close by.

One of the things I love best about Bill's is actually their sports memorabilia. I know that sounds strange, but they have jerseys, t-shirts, hats, socks, joggers and more for a STEAL. We all have someone in our life who is a sports fan, but getting the gear can be pretty pricey, one thing I love about flea markets is you can find great deals with the snap of a finger.
