The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame Juneteenth Celebration

Atlanta is truly the birthplace and home to many amazing things including the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame.

Juneteenth is this weekend and with celebrations happening all over the city, there is one event you don't want to miss. The Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame (BMEWOF) induction ceremony and celebration. The Juneteenth celebration is happening Saturday, June 18 at The Home Depot Backyard. Some of the confirmed inductees are Cathy Hughes, T.D. Jakes, Charlie Wilson, Run DMC, Tamela Mann, Donnie McClurkin, The Prince Estate, The Bob Marley Estate and more.

BMEWOF Founders Michael Mauldin who is no stranger to music, Mauldin is the father of Atlanta Music Royalty Jurmaine Dupree and Founder of SoSo Def and State Representative Erica Thomas shared some inside details that attendees can enjoy including a new sign to mark the growing BMEWOF. Mauldin shares that the importance to having thins is to mark culture and history for generations to come.

In addition, BMEWOF is introducing a unique culinary experience curated by one of the nation's most decorated and awarded chefs, Team USA culinary Olympian Chef Daryl Shular.
