Over the years, Bill Murray’s surprise interactions with fans have become almost as iconic as his movie roles. Recently, Murray has once again added to his list of unbelievable moments, surprising fans at an Ireland hotel with a musical performance. The actor decided to get on stage and sing an Al Green cover after seeing a band performing at the hotel. The performance has been added to a long list of viral moments for Murray.
Bill Murray was in Ireland recently filming a golf series, ‘The Links Life.’ While many fans were excited to see the actor at the Mount Falcon Hotel in Ballina, Co Mayo, Murray couldn’t help but give them a story to tell for years. After seeing a band performing in the hotel, Murray decided to hop on stage and sing the Al Green song, ‘Ride Sally Ride.’
“He’s the coolest man alive and I got to sing with him. It was amazing,” said saxophonist Lorraine McDonald who was performing at the hotel. According to NME, Murray will be heading to Spain next for another project. Hopefully fans there will get a memorable Bill Murray story to tell as well.
