Actor Michael Mando joined the "Kevin and Taylor 's Feel Good Morning Show" to talk about his latest projects, his unexpected journey into acting and the importance of following your instincts.

Mando, known for his role as Nacho Varga in Better Call Saul, recently stepped into the world of superheroes with appearances connected to Marvel’s Spider-Man universe. He is also lending his voice to the upcoming animated film Batman: Knightfall Part 1, which arrives Aug. 25.
The conversation discussed Mando’s journey into acting, which he described as something he never originally planned. He explained that acting did not become part of his life until his mid-20s, after a series of moments he described as “synchronicity” helped guide him toward an audition.
Mando said he believes people should pay attention to their intuition while also learning to separate it from fear.
“The biggest challenge I find is how do you distinguish between your intuition and your fear?” Mando said. “Because sometimes you're afraid of something, but it's the right thing for you to do it. And sometimes you intuitively feel like this is the wrong thing.”
The actor also reflected on his superhero roles, including playing characters who may not always be viewed as heroes. While he is often recognized for portraying darker or complicated characters, Mando explained that he looks for the humanity within each role.
He said his goal is to understand what motivates every character, even those who make questionable choices.
“You look for the humanity in the characters and we all have all these weaknesses,” Mando said. “I'm capable of every human emotion that I've ever read about.”
Mando also discussed his interest in playing different types of roles in the future. While fans know him for characters like Scorpion in the Spider-Man universe, he said he would enjoy exploring roles such as a loving father, detective or even an astronaut.
The actor also shared advice for young people who may be struggling to find their direction, especially as students return to school. Mando encouraged kids to focus on discovering what they truly enjoy and building a future around those passions.
“My advice is do something you absolutely love,” Mando said. “Because then it wouldn't matter whether the world gives you money for it or not. You'd still be happy.”
Mando’s latest project, Batman: Knightfall Part 1, releases digitally Aug. 25, followed by a physical release on Sept. 8.
