After leading up to the project with the singles "Rockstar," "New Woman” featuring Rosalía, and "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),” LISA has officially announced her highly anticipated debut solo album, also revealed to be titled Alter Ego, will arrive on February 28, 2025.

After first teasing the new album and hinting at its title last week with a series of social media posts. LISA’s official Alter Ego announcement included unveiling the project’s cover art, which features the superstar in a black head wrap, showing off her spiky black nails, while starring directly into our soul.
To further hype up the BLINKS, LISA also dropped a three-minute album trailer, which expands on the teaser she released a few days prior to the announcement.
In it, LISA “emulates five characters each representing a unique personality,” per the official press release. “They are represented by the five points on a star, which has become a key emblem in the campaign.”
Opening with her walking an endless white runway, the galactic teaser, sees LISA’s eyes change colors as she’s transported from a black rock structure surrounded by pyrotechnics, back to the catwalk now in outer space with a sea of water on either side, to an enchanted garden surround by butterflies, a green laser-beam motorcycle track, and back to the runway, now a fiery volcanic red.
The announcement of LISA’s debut solo album comes at the tail end of a record-breaking year full of exciting new solo music and high-energy performances, ahead of BLACKPINK’s previously announced comeback, also set for 2025.
