For those hoping that Cardi B’s recent rollout of singles was leading to her dropping her long-awaited sophomore album at some point this year, sorry to disappoint, but that’s not the plan.

Sharing her 2024 plans included rest and relaxation, Cardi shared and then deleted what her intentions are for the rest of the year.
Responding to comment on X that read, “time for her to pull back from social media platforms,” dubbing the rapper’s engagement with her fans as “unappreciated.” Cardi wrote, “Exactly and I tell myself this all the time .. and I hate that I fall back and start interacting again and it bites me in the a**.”
Additionally, in the same since-deleted reply (screen-grabbed by HipHopDX), Cardi dropped the disappointing truth about her lack of album plans, writing, “Anyway NO album this year I don’t care I’m relaxing this year .. Dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.”
Sorry Bardigang, but looks like “Like What (Freestyle),” “Enough (Miami),” the Shakira collab “Puntería,” and whatever features she’s already committed to will have to suffice until next year.
