Chappell Roan manifested her Saturday Night Live dreams over the weekend, making her musical guest debut. With it came a brand new song, along with the one that started it all.

Starting off her first of two Studio 8H stage performances with a familiar favorite, Chappell served up Bride of Frankenstein realness, for a performance of “Pink Pony Club.”

The very on-brand Halloween-themed presentation of the popular song, had the audience gagged and loudly singing along to the chorus, like no SNL crowd ever has before.

For her second appearance, Chappell galloped straight out of the club and right to the rodeo, to debut her new Country-inspired lesbian-femme single, "The Giver.”

While the track’s debut performance with all its denim and Western elements, had some major Dukes of Hazzard vibes, the song’s lyrics indicate however that “dukes” are of no actual interest, Duchesses on the other hand…

Dressed in her usual dragalicious vibes, Chappell in a pink gingham getup and matching cowgirl boots, stomped along to her new fiddle-filled track all about how she’s a better “giver” than any man could ever be.

A lyrical example — “Other boys may need a map / But I can close my eyes and have you wrapped around my fingers like that.”

Chappell first teased the song in October, with a series of Polaroid pics that read "She gets the job done,” referencing what we now know to be lyrics from the song’s chorus. “This is a clue. Just let that sink in," she captioned her Instagram post.

"All you Country boys saying you know how to treat a woman right... well, only a woman knows how to treat a woman right. She gets the job done,” Roan said mid-performance of her undeniably catchy track, before effortlessly belting out a high note.

Chappell previously mentioned the track’s Country leaning vibes during an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this year. When discussing what to expect from her sophomore album, Roan said, “We have a Country song. We have a dancey song. We have one that’s really Eighties, and we have one that’s acoustic, and we have one that’s really organic, live-band, Seventies vibe. It’s super weird.”

This week’s episode of Saturday Night Live was hosted by John Mulaney and featured guest appearances from Pete Davidson, Andy Samberg, Dana Carvey, Jim Gaffigan, Maya Rudolph for her currently frequent Kamala Harris impersonation, as well as the actual Vice President of the United States Kamala Harris.

Roan’s appearance on the show comes 13 years after the then yet-to-be superstar shared her dream to be on the weekly sketch show. Ahead of Saturday night’s show, Chappell shared a screenshot of her April 2011 Kayleigh Amstutz Facebook post, that prophetically read — “I am determined to be on SNL.”
