In the lead-up to this year's big Super Bowl LVIII matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers happening on Sunday, February 11, some fans may have noticed a few conversations about the romance between the Chiefs' tight end, Travis Kelce, and one Ms. Taylor Swift.

Discussing the hot topic with hosts Tom Brady and Larry Fitzgerald on their Let's Go! podcast, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid weighed in with his own two cents on the matter that has dominated the conversation surrounding this year's big game. Dubbed "The Beatles" of the NFL this season, given the high-profile attention given to TNT (Travis N Taylor), Reid seemed absolutely fine with their public romance, saying “She’s been great." Although he did get a little ribbing in when mentioning that he's known Swift for a significantly longer period of time than Kelce has.

"I knew her before, from Philadelphia. Her dad [Scott Swift] played at [University of] Delaware and was a big football fan and good guy," Reid explains. “So I had met him there and her... That was the last thing Trav wanted to hear, that I knew her before him. She told him, ‘I know your coach,'" Reid remembers, "And he went, 'Oh, God, come on!'"

Reid continued his praise, adding Swift is a “good girl and I’m happy for Trav,” also sharing his confidence that there has been "no distraction at all. Travis handled it right, she’s handled it right and we just move forward," for the big win on game day.
