The former “Friends” superstar appeared on the “Gloss Angeles” podcast recently and discussed how she became worried at a young age she was starting to appear older. This pushed her to get facial filler, which she said is a major regret in her life.

“Thinking I was getting older when I was really young, that’s just a bummer, a waste of time,” Cox told the podcast. “It’s a domino effect, it’s like you don’t realize that you look a little off, so then you keep doing more because you look normal to yourself. You look in the mirror and go, ‘Oh, that looks good,’ and you don’t realize what it looks like to the outside.”

Cox said she eventually had her filler removed after coming to terms with how her face actually appeared.

“Thank god they are removable,” she said. “I think I messed up a lot of and now, luckily, I was able to reverse most of that. Now, I’m actually just older. I look at pictures of me from when I thought I looked OK, and I can’t believe it.”

Courteney Cox is currently starring in “Scream VI” in theaters now.
