Following in 50 Cent's footsteps, GloRilla has revealed that for the next few months, sex is not part of the agenda -- vowing to start off the new year with the resolution of celibacy.

Joining the list quickly forming of fellow celebs who promised to press pause on intimacy in 2024. GloRilla took to social media to share how things are going thus far.
Unlike 50’s determined and business savvy stance on the matter, Glo opted to joke about the difficulty she’s already encountered less than 2 weeks in. "Started my 90 day celibacy lil s*** for new year's or wtv, I'm on da 9th day & my vision blurry af !!!!! Send help,” she tweeted.
Replying to her post, fellow rapper Sexxy Redd jokingly noted that the loss of sex would also mess with her senses. Replying, "Girl I’d be losing hearing in my right eye.” Replying back, GloRilla said, “B**** I been lost it be having to take my sunglasses off just to hear.”
And Sexxy Redd wasn’t the only one that chimed in, the posts comments section quickly flooded with comments. Some also feeling some type of way, others just there to support, and as always a few popped in to troll.
"Come celebrate with us when you done, one X user wrote, prompting a reply from another who wrote, "She's celibate by choice gang." Relating to Glo’s journey, another follower revealed, "I'm on day 60 started mines November 9th.”Then, convinced Glorilla wouldn’t complete her challenge, one doubter responded, "You not making it 90 days I stamp that.”
In addition to 50 Cent and now GloRilla, during a Live stream in November 2023, Megan Thee Stallion also vowed she’d be "turning over a new leaf” when it comes to her current approach to sex.
While the topic of celibacy didn’t arise, Meg did admit that while the raunchy persona she embodies in her song lyrics does ring true to her personal life, her thoughts toward intimacy have lately begun to shift. “I’m stingy with the sex,” said Megan,"I’m not a freak anymore. I’m done. I’m done with the streets. So toxic in the streets. I’m tired with the streets."
