Jada Pinkett Smith is marking her hair’s growth progress amid her battle with alopecia.

Pinkett Smith posted photos to her Instagram page showcasing two selfies. The first showing a nearly shaved head and in the second, a bit more hair and it being dyed blonde.

“This here hair is act’n like it’s try’n a make a come back. Still have some trouble spots but — we’ll see✨,” she wrote in the post’s caption.

The actress has long been candid about her struggle with alopecia on social media and her Facebook talk show “Red Table Talk.”

Last year Pinkett Smith shared a selfie where she wore an intricate satin top and a deep, burgundy lipstick and little to no hair on her head.

“Happy Bald is Beautiful day to all my brothers and sisters with no hair,” she captioned the post.

Pinkett Smith revealed her alopecia diagnosis in 2018 during an episode of “Red Table Talk.”

Alopecia is an autoimmune disorder that attacks hair follicles, according to WebMD.
