Kate Middleton stayed fashionable as she attended Prince Philip's funeral, wearing a pearl necklace that paid a symbolic tribute to Queen Elizabeth II and the late Princess Diana.
On Saturday, the Duchess of Cambridge joined royal family members at Saint George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle where the Duke of Edinburgh was laid to rest.
Prince Philip died on April 9 at the age of 99.
Middleton, 39, arrived wearing a black Roland Mouret dress and fascinator with Queen Elizabeth’s Japanese four-row pearl choker. The Queen previously loaned the necklace to Diana, Princess of Wales.

Middleton wore the necklace at past royal events, including the 70th anniversary party of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip in 2017, Today reported.
Diana, who died in 1997, wore the jewels to a 1982 dinner at Hampton Court Palace in London. The necklace was also worn by The Queen herself during the 70th birthday party of the late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
Middleton joined her husband, Prince William, and her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, as three of only 30 invited guests to the ceremony.

Prince William and Prince Harry put their fraught relationship aside as they said farewell to their grandfather at his funeral.
It was the first time the brothers had been together in public since Harry stood down from royal duties and moved to the U.S. with his wife Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, and their son Archie in early 2020.
The entire procession and funeral took place out of public view within the grounds of the castle, a 950-year-old royal residence 20 miles (30 kilometers) west of London, but was shown live on television.
