Kristen Bell is responding to her fans online who question whether she even likes her husband, Dax Shepard.
On Wednesday, an Instagram comment captured by Comments By Celebs suggested there was an issue in the couple’s relationship, People reported.
Bell, 40, responded saying, "we adore each other, we just try to always be honest about how marriage, or companionship in any form, is hard sometimes."
"You cant always be in control, or right, and its important to us that we lead with the honesty of your 'perfect match' being a myth," she said.
The “Frozen” star added, "You gotta work hard to love yourself, and love other humans. Xo."
The fan’s initial comment was in response an interview Shepard, 46, did with PopCulture that revealed Bell was unhappy with the way she was depicted in a mural of the couple on the side on Shepard's van.
The mural showed Shepard looking very buff as he slays a dragon while Bell clutches onto his leg.
"She wasn't thrilled with the level of 'female empowerment' that was depicted in that mural. Understandably," Shepard told the outlet.
Last month, Bell opened up about seeking marriage counseling with husband her amid public issues in their marriage.
"Dax and I, when we started this pandemic, were at a point in our marriage where we definitely needed [it,]" said Bell, who revealed that therapy helped to strengthen her marriage.
Bell and Shepard, 46, tied the knot in 2013 and have two children together, Delta, 6, and Lincoln, 7.
