Noting how the music video for Lady Gaga’s iconic Beyoncé collab “Telephone” ends with a title card that reads “To be continued,” which thus far hasn’t happened, the offscreen moderator asked if the 14 year old promise would ever actually come true. Well, to the ever so patient Little Monsters and Beyhive there’s good news and bad news. You’ll surely be very please to know that Lady G does intend to fulfill on the follow-up. And when presented with an image of Beyoncé and asked “would this person be in it?” Gaga’s response was “maybe,” which the lie detector confirmed to be truthful.
As for the bad news, when asked about when the illusive track might arrive, Gaga admitted she currently has to definitive plans.
Always one to turn out a look, Gaga also answered some questions about her more memorable daring fashion moments, for which she has an archive. Which as Gaga admitted, is where you’d find the infamous egg she arrived in at the 2011 GRAMMYs.
And when later presented with a photo of the controversial meat dress she wore to the 2010 MTV VMAs, and asked if she would ever wear raw beef as couture again, Gaga replied "I don't think so, no,” which the test operator deemed as inconclusive, much to Gaga’s astonishment. "Oh. Well, that was a surprise,” Gaga noted.
Gaga’s mix of truthful and inconclusive confessions also included the following — Would she ever consider being a Real Housewife — No. Is she excited for a new cast of Vanderpump Rules — the answer was inconclusive, however the cast member she’ll miss the most is Scheana. Is it true she wanted to perform inside a Doritos vending machine at SXSW? — confused by the query, Gaga couldn’t remember if that was true, but did admit it sounds like something she’d concoct.
Oh and for those ride or die, from the very start Little Monsters, Gaga also uncomfortably answered some questions about her first television appearance on The Hills. You know, the one where Lauren Conrad (who should have gone to Paris) and Whitney Port came to Gaga’s wardrobe rescue ahead of a performance.
To catch all of that and lots more, like what is the longest time she's spent doomscrolling on TikTok? If she were to delete one song from her discography, which one would it be? And is she more of a Glinda or an Elphaba? Check out Vanity Fair’s 'Lady Gaga Takes a Lie Detector Test' segment from start to finish below.
