Looking more like an actual party than a push for a political party and presidential nominee Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic National Convention is in full swing, and had no intentions of turning it down, especially if Lil Jon has anything to say about it.

With Harris having already secured the Democratic nomination for president, this year's convention roll call vote was strictly ceremonial and the outcome was no surprise. But what did come as a surprise to those present — was a special performance of “Turn Down for What” by the Crunk master himself.

"DNC, turn down for what?" Lil Jon rapped as he joined the delegates from Georgia on the floor of Chicago’s United Center. Proceeding to pump up the crowd, the rapper went on to lead the crowd to chant “We’re not going back.”

Then, as if things weren’t Democratic conventionally unconventional enough already, Lil Jon moved onto a rendition of “Get Low” substituting, “VP Harris, Governor Walz,” in place of “to the window, to the wall.”
