With the internet birthing new stars every day, it's hard to stand out from the pack, but every once in a while, one of those stars turns into a supernova — case in point — Lil Nas X. On a brand new episode of Spout Podcast the super creative, and sometimes controversial artist joined to spout off with Nick Major on gaming, touring, fashion, fans, tour bus life, gas station food, and more.

Now as the President of League of Legends, Nas spoke about how the gaming collaboration came about, explaining, “me and League of Legends have always loved each other, and it was just a matter of time.” Jokingly adding, “I called League on their phone and I was like 'Hey what are you doing tonight?’ And League was like ‘I don’t know, you want to come over?’ And I was like ‘sure,’ and I came over and now we have this collaboration.”
Along with being the President of the League, Nas also served up “STAR WALKIN’ (League of Legends World Anthem).”
When breaking down the lyrics and meaning of the track, Nas explained, “these lyrics are like a testament to like what I’ve been doing and where I see myself going.” And while it’s not the first time he’s featured that message in a song, he noted, “I feel like it’s the most theatrical I’ve been with it.”
Speaking of theatrical — Lil Nas is currently on his first ever world tour, and “it’s got Montero, it’s got music, it’s got men, it’s got muscles.”
“The tour is so fun and the response is like even better,” Nas shared. “I never went to concerts growing up… so it’s really sick to see people like 'oh my god, this is my favorite concert ever,’ or like stuff like that.”
Aside from performing and pleasing his fans, one of his other favorite tour life moments include “stopping in random places in the middle of nowhere at a gas station.”
Other topics up for discussion included Nas trolling a group of protesters, but not before being nice and offering them pizza first. Followed by his long running deep love for video games, and making his mark in the fashion and beauty world.
