Lowe’s is offering free delivery for fresh Christmas trees this year

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — ’Tis the season for contactless deliveries.

In light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Lowe’s will offer free delivery of fresh Christmas trees to your home for the holidays.

Fresh-cut wreaths and tree containers will also be available for local delivery.

Deliveries are free for orders of $45 or more and will be dropped off within two to five days. Orders open early this year — Oct. 30 — so customers can get a jumpstart on the season.

It’s the first year Lowe’s has made this offer, as many Americans are still spending a majority of their time at home to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The offer is part of the chain’s annual “seasons of savings” event.
