The 2021 ceremony, co-hosted again by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold, saw plenty of fantastic performances from the likes of Silk Sonic, Ashanti, Ari Lennox, Maxwell, Summer Walker, and many more.
The big winners at the 2021 Soul Train Music Awards were Silk Sonic taking home Song of the Year, Jazmine Sullivan winning Album of the Year and Best R&B/Soul Female Artist, Yung Bleu taking home Best New Artist, and Giveon with Best R&B/Soul Male Artist.
Those artists joined previously announced winners like Maxwell, who was honored with the Legend award in recognition of his influence on music and culture, and Ashanti who received The Lady of Soul award recognizing her accomplishments in the industry.
