It’s the roaring twenties again and Klavon’s Ice Cream in the Strip District is celebrating with 1920s prices.

The ice cream parlor at 2801 Penn Avenue is encouraging people to “forget your New Year’s resolutions – try an ‘ice cream cleanse’ inside,”

On January 2 and 3 an ice cream cone will cost one penny, a sundae is five cent and a banana split is only a dime!

“We're happy to celebrate the new decade with something as timeless as ice cream in a shop that has seen more than a century of changes.”

Klavon’s is open from 11 a.m. though 7 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. through 9 p.m. Friday.
