
An Emmy award-winning rapper/ musician is attempting to beat the Guinness World Record for the longest freestyle rap on the first anniversary of his day in Pittsburgh.
Harvey Daniels, better known as Frzy will attempt to freestyle from 10 a.m. Saturday through 5 p.m. on Sunday.
That’s 31 hours!
The event will be held at The Block Northway on McKnight Road and is open to the public.
Frzy will be accompanied by non-stop music from 13 DJ’s from Grind Hard, as well as 26 producers and interactive games.
Frzy was honored with Frzy Day on January 11, 2019.
Join the folks at JaJagoff and “Record your name at the event, and once the attempt is approved, you will have the opportunity to send away for a certificate from Guinness World Records to prove that you were a part of this historic event.”
You can also donate to charity. For a donating Frzy will rap about whatever you want, as long as you keep in clean.
Proceeds will benefit MusicCares, a non-profit that provides preventative, recovery, and emergency assistance to safeguard the health and well-being of music people in need.
In addition to the music, Frzy’s all golf Ford Mustang GT will be onsite as well as his Emmy Award
In addition, Frzy will have his Emmy Award on site that he won in 2018 while collaborating with WQED and PBS for a remixed version of the Mister Rogers’ song “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” written for the 50th anniversary of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood tribute video.
The event will be on the upper level, near the top of the staircase. All entrances of The Bock at Northway Mall will be open during normal hours of operation.
