The first song off Mac Miller's final album was released Thursday.
The song, called "Good News", is off his upcoming final album, "Circles," due out January 17th, two days before what would have been his Mac's 28th birthday.
The video for "Good News" shares a video of Miller in the studio, along with photos of the late rapper.
On Wednesday, Miller's family released a statement about the upcoming project.
"At the time of his passing, Malcolm was well into the process of recording his companion album to Swimming, entitled Circles. Two different styles complementing each other, completing a circle – Swimming in Circles was the concept."
After Miller died co-producer and co-writer Jon Brion, who also worked with Miller on Swimming, "dedicated himself to finishing Circles based on his time and conversations with Malcolm."
Miller, who was from Pittsburgh, died from a drug overdose on September 7, 2018.
