Superstar DAYA may live in Los Angeles, but she will forever be a Pittsburgher at heart.
The singer joined Bubba Show on Thursday to share her world premiere of her new single “Bad Girl.”
The Mt. Lebanon native called in from her 412 area code phone and said she’ll never get rid of that number.
A Yinzer-for-life, Daya says the food she missed the most is pierogis and one of her goals is to have a home in both L.A. and Pittsburgh.
“I’m a Yinzer forever . . . you can’t take the Pittsburgh out of me,” she said.
She says she wrote the song a few months ago and says it’s one she has been wanting to write for years now.
