Napa Valley’s BottleRock Festival went down this weekend, and during Sunday evening's final day lineup, top billing headliner Ed Sheeran joined other headliner The Offspring as a surprise special guest for their set.

Together they performed “Million Miles Away,” which The Offspring haven’t performed since 2016. Making not only the crowd’s dreams come true, but also Sheeran's.
Sharing about the monumental experience on Instagram, the usually opposed to social media singer wrote, “The first album I ever bought was the @offspring - Conspiracy of One. I used to pretend to be in their band in the mirror and sing along to the album when I was 9, mostly to their song Million Miles Away as it was the first song of theirs I heard.”
“I mentioned it in an interview and Noodles / Dexter got in touch with me when we found out we were all playing the same festival, to see if I wanted to get on stage and sing it. It was an instant yes obvz. Really felt like living out a childhood dream thank you for having me up there guys. Music is a wild ride, every day I’m so grateful to be living my dream in reality. Hope you enjoy the vid x”
The sentimental post arrived alongside a video of Sheeran showing off his Offspring tattoo to the band while preparing for the performance and going over the arrangement of the song that Ed had clearly thought greatly about. After about 30 seconds, the rest of the 1 minute and 19 second video showed clips of the concert and expansive crowd.
