The project features seven tracks that are all connected by the theme of love as Jimin tells stories of his attempts and struggles searching for genuine connection. Inspired by the The Beatles’ 1967 Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, fans will also notice a unique charm throughout the visual concept of the album as well.
While Jimin led the overall production of the project, he had help from some of the biggest names in the business including Pdogg, GHSTLOOP and EVAN who were also involved with FACE. Additionally, for this album, he worked with Jon Bellion, Tommy Brown, Ryan Tedder, Pete Nappi and Tenroc.
After calling in a number of producers, Jimin focused on keeping his voice the focus of the project, however he did welcome two guest collaborators; South Korean rapper, Loco, and singer-actress, Sofia Carson.
With each track playing a crucial role in the theme and storytelling of the album, “Who” (track 6) is where the story reaches its peak with Jimin pondering the question, “Who is my heart waiting for?” Before exploring deeper with a Hip-Hop/ R&B sound reminiscent of the 2000s.
