Saturday, Mar. 18: Washington County Kids Fest, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This jam-packed and free event is one not to miss. With appearances by princesses, Wild World of Animals, a Mascot Mashup race and tons of other kid-friendly activities, it’s one of the biggest free family events in the region. Find out more info here.
Saturday, Mar. 18: Attack Theater presents Dance Workshop for Children, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Attack Theatre’s arts education programs connect with students through the power of creative play. Come to Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood location to participate in this free session. Rooted in reflection, investigation, and imagination, these programs emphasize creative learning and wellness. At the core of each program, dance and movement support kinesthetic strategies to develop critical thinking, encourage collaboration, strengthen communication, and nurture creativity. Bring the whole family to this event at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center for an exciting day as they celebrate sports, arts, and entertainment. See some of your favorite teams and vendors as well as enjoy performances from Pittsburgh artists. The event is free and open to the public. Sunday, Mar. 19: Big Bubble Bonanza
Bubble rainbows with people inside. Audience members making volcano bubbles! Gigantic bubbles that blow their own bubbles? Check out this exciting bubble-themed show at the Byham Theater. Tickets begin at $12.
Sunday, Mar. 19: Little Kid Disco at Ruckus Coffee Gallery, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
