AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Officials are investigating an apparent home invasion on the city's east side Sunday morning.
Police responded to the 2900 block of Pecan Springs Road, just east of Manor Road, just before 8 a.m. Sunday morning on a shoot/stab call.
When officers arrived, they started performing CPR on one of the victims. That person was transported to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced deceased; another victim was undergoing surgery, officials said.
It's not clear whether the deceased individual was a resident or a suspect.
Police say the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
