AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- A 27th person has died from the coronavirus in Travis County, as local health officials confirmed 59 new cases Tuesday evening.
There are now 1,233 positive cases of COVID-19 in Travis County, according to the latest numbers from Austin Public Health. 38 new cases have recovered, for a total of 331.
The number of hospitalizations is also dropping across the five county area, with only 79 cases reported. The number in intensive care, however, has increased to 34, with 18 patients on ventilators.
