AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Local health officials reported one additional COVID-19 death Friday, bringing the total number of fatalities to 60 as of Friday evening.
69 new cases of the disease were confirmed, according to the latest numbers from Austin Public Health. That pushes the county total to 2,071 confirmed cases.
678 of the cases are now considered recovered, an increase of 19 from Thursday's update.
The latest data from the Texas Department of State Health Services shows 14,168 tests have been conducted.
