AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Texas Gov. Greg Abbott will provide an update on the state's response to the coronavirus Monday afternoon.
Abbott is widely expected to detail his next steps in re-opening the state's economy, after re-opening state parks, loosening restrictions on medical procedures, and allowing non-essential "retail to go" last week.
In a number of radio interviews across the state, Abbott signaled a return for hair salons and restaurants. He's also indicated that different parts of the state may see different rules, depending on the severity of the virus outbreak.
Abbott's remarks are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. Talk 1370 will carry them live, on-air and online.
